A smart battery management system protects the cells from overcharge and deep discharge, extending the pack’s useful life. Is the N5 legal on German and European roads?

Yes. The N5 carries ABE certification and is StVZO / eKFV compliant for road use in Germany, which makes it one of the few e-scooters that can be ridden legally on German public roads without extra registration.
