The SUNNIGOO N9 is a long-range electric scooter for adults built around a rated 1200W rear brushless motor with 1600W peak output, a 48V 18Ah lithium-ion battery and front-and-rear dual suspension. It delivers the range, comfort and security serious commuters need for daily European riding, with fingerprint and app unlock, 10-inch pneumatic tubeless tyres and a foldable 27 kg frame. Ships from our EU warehouse in 3–5 working days.

How fast is the SUNNIGOO N9?

The N9 runs a rated 1200W rear brushless motor with a 1600W peak output, giving strong acceleration and a climbing angle of roughly 30°. Public-road speed is set by market: 20 km/h in Germany, Italy and Poland and 25 km/h in France and Spain. Four riding modes let you match power to the situation: ECO at 15 km/h for maximum range, Standard at 20 km/h for flowing traffic, Sport at 25 km/h, and a push-assist mode. Higher-speed use is intended only for private land, closed circuits and off-road trails where local rules allow.

How far can the N9 go on a single charge?

The 48V 18Ah lithium-ion battery (896 Wh) delivers 60–80 km per charge, enough for a working week of short commutes or a long weekend ride. An integrated battery management system protects the cells through every cycle. Range is measured with a 75 kg rider on flat terrain, no wind, at 25°C; actual range varies with rider weight, hills, temperature and riding style.

Is the N9 legal on European roads?

Yes, in its default road-legal mode. The N9 is capped at the national e-scooter limit for each market (20 km/h in DE/IT/PL; 25 km/h in FR/ES) and carries CE certification, so it complies with local rules in those countries. Higher-speed modes are intended only for private land, closed circuits and off-road use. Always check your national rules for helmet use, minimum age, insurance and permitted power before riding on public roads.

What is the weight and max load?

The N9 uses a lightweight aluminium alloy frame that folds quickly to 1290 × 540 × 580 mm and weighs 27 kg. The frame and deck are rated for riders up to 120 kg, and the 10-inch wide pneumatic tubeless tyres with front-and-rear double suspension keep larger riders comfortable on mixed surfaces.

How long does it take to charge?

The high-capacity 48V 18Ah battery reaches full charge in approximately 6–8 hours with the included charger. Plug it in overnight after an evening ride and it is ready for the next morning. The battery is removable, so you can charge it indoors without carrying the whole scooter.

What’s in the box?

The N9 ships with the scooter folded, the removable 48V 18Ah battery, a compatible charger, a set of hex keys, the user manual and a warranty card. The stem folds and unfolds in seconds, and the scooter arrives in 85–90% pre-assembled form, so you can be ready to ride within minutes of unboxing.

Where can I get spare parts and service?

Batteries, chargers, controllers, brake pads, tyres and suspension parts ship from our EU warehouse, and our support team answers at service@sunnigoo.com. The 10-inch tyres and brake components are sized for adult scooters, so replacements are easy to source and fit with standard tools.

*Range measured with a 75 kg rider on flat terrain, no wind, at 25°C. Actual range varies with rider weight, terrain, temperature and riding style.

A Saturday Loop Outside Bordeaux. Friday evening the N9 folds into the boot after work. Saturday morning it carries a rider along the Garonne cycle path, past the vineyards and into the pine forest. The 1200W motor holds its speed on the long climb, the dual suspension absorbs the rougher tracks, and the fingerprint reader means no app-fumbling at the start of the ride. By midday the battery gauge still shows reserve — the 48V 18Ah pack has covered the morning and has plenty left for the city run in the evening. Back home, the scooter stands folded in the hallway, charger ready for the overnight top-up.

Looking for a long-range electric scooter with fingerprint security, a comfortable dual-suspension commuter, or a 1200W scooter that handles both weekday traffic and weekend trails? The N9 ships from our EU warehouse — free delivery, 3–5 working days, with spare parts stocked in Europe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the SUNNIGOO N9 road-legal in Germany?
The N9 is limited to 20 km/h on German public roads, matching the eKFV speed limit, and carries CE certification.

What is the real-world range of the SUNNIGOO N9?
Under typical European riding conditions, the SUNNIGOO N9 delivers approximately 60-80 km per charge. Actual range depends on rider weight, terrain, weather, and assist/riding mode.

Can I ride the SUNNIGOO N9 in the rain?
The SUNNIGOO N9 carries an IP56 water-resistance rating, offering protection against dust and water jets. It is suitable for wet roads, but prolonged submersion should be avoided.

How long does the SUNNIGOO N9 battery last?
The lithium-ion battery is rated for 800–1,000 full charge cycles. With typical use and proper care, this usually translates to 3–5 years of dependable performance.

What warranty does SUNNIGOO offer for the SUNNIGOO N9?
SUNNIGOO provides EU customers with a 2-year frame warranty and 1-year battery/motor warranty, supported by our service center in Messel, Germany.

Who is the SUNNIGOO N9 best suited for?
The SUNNIGOO N9 is ideal for riders looking for a long-range flagship, offering a 1200W motor and practical range for European commuting.

The SUNNIGOO N9mate is the flagship dual-motor electric scooter of the SUNNIGOO lineup for adult riders, pairing two 1200W brushless hub motors (3200W combined peak output) with a 1152Wh (48V 24Ah) lithium battery. It delivers up to 60 km of range per charge, a 20 km/h EU road-legal top speed (up to 25 km/h on private land), a 38° climbing grade and a 200 kg maximum load — shipped from our EU warehouse in 3–5 working days, duty-free within the EU.

How fast does the SUNNIGOO N9mate go?

The N9mate ships factory-limited to 20 km/h, the speed cap accepted for electric scooters on most EU public roads. Through the Bluetooth app you can switch between three riding modes — ECO, SPORT and RACE — and on private land or closed circuits the RACE mode unlocks up to 25 km/h. The dual-motor architecture is where the N9mate truly separates itself from single-motor commuters: both wheels put power down, giving it traction and acceleration that carry it up climbing grades of up to 38°. For context, that is steep enough that most single-motor scooters in this weight class stall halfway — the N9mate pulls through without hesitation, which matters on the hilly streets of Lisbon, Bilbao or the Riviera.

How far does the N9mate go on a single charge?

The 48V 24Ah lithium battery stores 1152Wh of energy — one of the largest packs in its class — and delivers up to 60 km in ECO mode, approximately 50 km in SPORT mode and 34 km in RACE mode.* For most European commuters that means a full working week of riding on a single overnight charge, while weekend riders get the headroom for long mixed-terrain routes without planning charging stops. A six-layer BMS protects the cells against short circuit, overcurrent, overheating, over-charge, under-voltage and over-discharge on every cycle, which is what keeps the pack healthy past its 800–1,000 charge cycle rating.

Is the N9mate legal on European roads?

The N9mate is limited to 20 km/h by default and is designed to comply with relevant EU safety standards for electric scooters on public roads. Rules still vary by country — helmet requirements, minimum age and registration differ between France, Spain, Italy and Germany — so we always recommend checking your local regulations before riding. For German public-road use, please verify current StVZO/eKFV requirements before purchasing, as certification eligibility depends on the latest registrations. On private land, the RACE mode at up to 25 km/h is at your discretion. The IPX5 water-resistance rating means wet asphalt, drizzle and post-rain puddles are all within its operating envelope.

What is the weight and maximum load of the N9mate?

The N9mate weighs 29.5 kg net and carries riders up to 200 kg (440 lbs) — one of the highest load ratings in the dual-motor category, built on an aviation-grade aluminium alloy frame. It is recommended for riders 160–200 cm tall, aged 16–60. The quick-fold mechanism collapses it in seconds to 1255 × 530 × 476 mm, compact enough for a car boot, a storage room or the corner of an office. Front and rear double suspension plus 10-inch wide pneumatic tubeless tires absorb potholes, cobblestones and light off-road chatter, so heavier riders do not pay a comfort penalty.

How long does it take to charge?

A full charge takes 6–8 hours with the included charger. Plug it in when you get home in the evening and it is ready by morning — with a 60 km ECO range, most riders only need to charge every few days. The lithium-ion pack is rated for 800–1,000 full charge cycles, which under typical use translates to 3–5 years of dependable performance before capacity meaningfully fades. Replacement batteries are stocked in our EU warehouse, so a pack swap years down the line is a service visit, not a new scooter.

What's in the box?

The N9mate arrives folded in protective packaging together with its dedicated charger, the user manual and the tools needed for initial setup. Unfolding, snapping the tiller clamp shut and pairing the scooter with the Bluetooth app takes under ten minutes — no special workshop equipment required. Fingerprint unlock is configured directly on the scooter the first time you power it on, so your N9mate is personal to you from day one. Everything you need for the first ride is in the box; there is nothing else to buy before you roll out.

Where can I get spare parts?

Batteries, chargers, controllers, brake discs, tires and throttles ship from our EU warehouse, and our German service center in Messel handles repairs and diagnostics for the full SUNNIGOO range. The N9mate's modular design allows most components to be replaced with basic tools, and our support team answers in English, French, Spanish and German at service@sunnigoo.com. Because the scooter is sold and serviced in Europe — not dropshipped from overseas — spare parts typically arrive within days, keeping your downtime short.

A week with the N9mate

Monday morning, the hills are back and so is the N9mate. Where a single-motor scooter leans into the gradient and prays, the dual motors simply pull — the same pace at the top of the climb as at the bottom. Through the week the routine settles in: fingerprint unlock at the door, ECO mode for the 14 km round trip, the battery gauge barely moving. By Friday it still shows charge from Tuesday. The weekend is what the RACE mode is kept for — private ground, up to 25 km/h, the double suspension smoothing out the ruts the commute never has. On Sunday evening the charger goes in overnight, and Monday starts full again.
