This is the original main cable harness for the SUNNIGOO N3MAX and N3LMAX electric scooters with seat. It is the single loom that carries power and signal between the battery tray, the controller, the dashboard, the brake cut-off switches and the lighting circuit. When a scooter dies completely, flickers on bumps or shows an error code that no reset clears, a chafed or corroded main cable is one of the first things a workshop checks — and on the N3 platform it is also one of the cheapest parts to replace.
What the main cable does on the N3 platform
The harness runs from the battery compartment, through the folding stem joint, up to the dashboard connector block, with branches for the front and rear brake sensors and the lighting loom. It is sheathed in a flexible PVC jacket with moulded connectors at both ends, so the install is plug-and-play: no soldering, no pin crimping, no need to open the controller housing beyond its cover screws.
Symptoms that point to a failed main cable
Replace the harness when you see one or more of these: the dash goes dark or reboots when you ride over kerbs; the throttle cuts in and out while the battery still shows a healthy charge; error codes appear and disappear when you wiggle the stem; the headlight and tail light stop together while the motor still runs; or the connector block at the stem shows a brown, heat-marked pin. How to confirm the right part before ordering
Send us the batch number stamped under the footrest or on the side panel, plus one photo of the connector block at the base of the stem. We check it against the production records and confirm fitment before dispatch, so you do not pay return shipping on a part that will not plug in. Orders without a batch number may be held until we can verify compatibility.
Fitting notes
Switch the scooter off and disconnect the battery before you start; the controller holds residual charge for a few minutes. Remove the deck cover and the four stem-cover screws, unclip the old harness from its retaining guides, and pull it through the fold joint slowly — do not yank, because the guide clips break easily. Route the new loom along the same path, seat every connector until it clicks, and check that the jacket is not pinched when the stem folds. Allow 60–90 minutes for a first install, and test throttle, brakes and lights on a stand before you ride.
