Additional Rights Under the GDPR (Articles 15 to 22)

The Shopify GDPR form above covers four core rights. SUNNIGOO also recognizes and supports the following rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

5. Right to Restriction of Processing (Article 18)

You may request that SUNNIGOO temporarily suspend the processing of your personal data, for example while we verify the accuracy of data you have contested, or while a complaint to a supervisory authority is being examined.

How to exercise it: Email privacy@sunnigoo.com with the subject line Restriction of processing request. We will respond within 1 month (extendable by 2 further months for complex requests, with prior notice under Article 12 paragraph 3).

6. Right to Object (Article 21)

You may object at any time to the processing of your personal data for:

  • Direct marketing purposes (promotional emails, retargeting ads). Unsubscribe via the link in every marketing email or by contacting privacy@sunnigoo.com.
  • Profiling (automated segmentation for product recommendations). Contact privacy@sunnigoo.com and we will exclude you from profiling within 30 days.
  • Legitimate-interest processing. Contact us and we will reassess on a case-by-case basis.

7. Right to Withdraw Consent (Article 7 paragraph 3)

If we process your data on the basis of consent (newsletter subscription, non-essential cookies, satisfaction surveys), you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

  • Newsletter: Click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any newsletter email.
  • Other consent: Email privacy@sunnigoo.com.

8. Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making and Profiling (Article 22)

SUNNIGOO does not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Where SUNNIGOO uses automated tools for fraud detection or product recommendation, you may request a manual review by contacting privacy@sunnigoo.com.

Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority (Article 77)

If you believe that SUNNIGOO has not respected your rights under the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

Image Rights (Droit a l image)

SUNNIGOO publishes product photos, lifestyle images, and customer testimonials on sunnigoo.com and affiliated channels. If you appear in a customer photo or video published on our site and wish to have your image removed (right to erasure under GDPR Article 17, or right to one image under French Civil Code article 9), contact us at privacy@sunnigoo.com and we will remove the image within 30 days.
